The Eagle, the Chicken, and the Vulture
Inspired by the ongoing military action in Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. NATO's lack of support to the U.S. during the combat engagement illustrates their weakness for helping an ally. America’s supposed allies fail to realize that the longer the strait remains closed, and Iran’s military remains operational, the larger the economic impact will be on Europe. This will occur because Europe imports fertilizer, oil, gas, and other resources to maintain their economies. Countries like Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland have closed their airspace for U.S. military flyovers. This news influenced the cartoon. A New Tax Bill Arrives
Hard-working families face increasing taxes on everyday necessities that are being imposed by our free-spending state, state and local taxing authorities. Most notable are increases on gasoline, home heating energy, groceries, utilities– and, of course, property taxes. The revenue generated by these taxes are used to cover a variety of government debts including the pensions of many retired government employees while growing families and retired folks struggle to fund their lives in retirement. This family struggle influenced this cartoon.
Sinking Along the Coast
